Top-Best-Baby-Diapers-for-Sensitive-Skin

Kokopax Top Pick

After seeing more than our fair share of baby poo, we can finally announce that the winner of our top diapers for sensitive skin competition is the Huggies Little Snugglers Baby Diaper. We found these diapers to be the best all round nappies, both for absorbability and baby comfort.

They were nice and easy to put on, and we found when done up properly, didn’t leak any fluids either. Its soft pad design pulled the liquids away from our babies’ bottoms, so kept their skin less damp than other diapers. The nappies wetness indicator worked really well, making our parent’s job much easier too.

Our babies actually showed vast improvements in the reduction of the amount of rashes and other skin conditions, such as eczema that occurred around the areas the nappies come into contact with. Most of our parents choose these as their top choice diapers, and we are happy to do so too.

How to buy the best diapers for sensitive skin?

Finding the top diapers for your infant can be a bit demanding. However, there are a few things to look out for that will make this task much easier for you.

Firstly, you should make sure that any baby diaper you are considering to buy has been designed specifically for babies with sensitive skin. Believe it or not, many people forget to check on this and simply buy the one their gut feeling tells them too.

Any infant nappy for sensitive skin will be hypoallergenic, which means it will not contain any chemicals that will irritate or do damage to your baby’s delicate skin.

We also suggest that you only buy diapers that are made from natural products and not oil based ones. This will also ensure that the amount of chemicals that your baby is exposed to is reduced too. Though there is no proven link to any damage being caused by these chemicals, many are manmade and therefore not advisable to expose to your babies skin.

Finally, we also recommend that you buy sustainably sourced and organic diapers if at all possible. Though more expensive, these products will help to reduce environmental damage and therefore offer your children a better world in which to live in the future also.

What is the best baby diaper for sensitive skin?

There are hundreds of different baby diapers on the market today. However, most have not been designed with babies that suffer from sensitive skin in mind.

When it comes into this world, a newborn baby’s skin is particularly vulnerable to damage caused by a whole range of environmental factors like pollution and bacteria. The first few month of a baby’s life are incredibly difficult for it, as it needs to quickly adapt to life outside the safety of its mother’s womb.

There are many things that parents can do to help their new baby and its sensitive skin. Diapers are vital to ensure that your baby does not pee and poop all over the place, but at the same time they also cause rubbing and irritation that is aggravated when they get wet.

As a result, it is important to make sure you get hold of a good fitting brand of diaper for your infant that is really soft and absorbable. Diapers that have been designed for sensitive skin will be hypoallergenic, meaning that they work to prevent allergies and rashes.

To find the best diapers, we suggest that you start by reading this article about the ones we found to be the best.

Do baby diapers for sensitive skin really work?

Diapers that have been specifically designed for infants with sensitive skin really do work. They are made from substances that are chosen because they are kind to your skin and don’t cause allergies or rashes.

Though no diaper will ever be perfect, the ones designed for sensitive skin will work much better than normal, non-hypoallergenic ones.

Are natural baby diapers for sensitive skin better than chemical ones?

Chemical or petroleum based diapers are made from the derivatives of oil. During manufacture, oil has to be turned into plastics and other such materials that are used to make the diapers. In order to do this, lots of nasty synthetic chemicals are added to change this liquid into the solid plastic that is needed.

These chemicals remain in the plastic and are then exposed to your child’s skin when you put the diaper on it. To add to this, other chemicals such as chlorine are also added to the diaper to make it more water proof.

All of these chemicals risk irritating your baby’s skin and causing rashes and aggravating existing skin conditions such as eczema.

By making sure that you only use natural baby diapers, which are manufactured from only plant based materials, you can limit the amount of chemical compounds that come into contact with your baby’s skin and therefore reduce the chance of its skin being irritated by its diapers.
